Clooney and Nespresso together again

George is back again—complete with a Nespresso cup in hand and an alluring smile. Beginning in September 2009, Academy Award-winning actor, director and producer, and Nespresso coffee connoisseur, George Clooney, will once again grace billboards and lifestyle magazines across Europe, the Middle East, South America and Asia as part of a new advertising campaign from Nespresso, the worldwide pioneer and market leader in highest-quality premium portioned coffee.

The campaign, which was shot by renowned celebrity photographer, Sam Jones, along with photographer Michel Dubois for the backgrounds, features photos of Clooney looking stylish in a dark suit in official passport and VIP photos and as he takes his own self portrait in a photo booth—all with his Nespresso Grand Cru in hand. As a long-time Nespresso fan, it’s as if he doesn’t want to leave his Nespresso Grand Cru behind, even for a moment.

“I think the overall message in this campaign is that Nespresso is so wonderful that you take it everywhere with you,” said photographer Sam Jones, who has photographed Clooney more than 25 times. “In this case, George even has Nespresso in his passport photo, because why stop drinking Nespresso to take your ID photo? It’s always with him.”

This is the fourth Nespresso ad campaign to feature Clooney, who has become the company’s most well known Club Member.
